Jessie believes the secret to obtaining a healthy and happy existence is by listening to the body and striving for balance. Her teaching philosophy is focused upon proper alignment and having fun. Her classes are Hatha-based and include vinyasa flow, balance, injury prevention, meditation, and counterbalancing the postures our bodies are in for most of the day.

A practicing yogini for 12 years, Jessie became a registered yoga instructor on Big Island, Hawaii in 2015. She is a member of Yoga Alliance and a proud alumni of the Yandara Yoga school based in Baja, Mexico. Jessie taught prenatal yoga classes and daily yoga as resident yoga instructor of P.O.R.T.A.L. Retreat Centre in Hawaii. Jessie returned a year later to Hawaii to obtain an advanced yoga certification for Yandara in "Yoga in Community: Recipes for Enlightenment." This focused on creative expression, music and mantra, meditation and Bhakti (Loving Devotion) Yoga.

She has a certification in children's yoga, from Yoga Therapy Toronto. She has taught in Toronto at Basecamp Rock Climbing and North Movement Pilates Studio. She collaborates with 123 Kids Yoga to teach children’s classes, both at elementary schools and daycares all across the GTA. She also teaches at St. Clements School and Bishop Strachan School. Her desire is to provide children with the tools to help alleviate stresses in their lives, through elements of mindfulness, connection to the body, and postures and pranayama (breathing). 

Jessie is currently completing her studies through the Institute of Holistic Nutrition.

In my Holistic Lifestyle Coaching practice I focus on health as a multidimensional concept, looking at the underlying causes of disease and stress, and view the body as a system of systems. Assessment of current fitness level, nutritional habits, lifestyle, and other factors impacting health. Teaching valuable tools and techniques to help increase energy and vitality, reduce stress, and sculpt body with appropriate types of exercise.
